Raising the Doorway

In order for our new ladder truck to fit inside the firehouse, it was necessary to raise the door on the 3rd Avenue side of the building.  The solid 1897 construction made this a somewhat challenging task.  Thanks to Bruce Buckwalter for his tireless efforts in making this happen.  The doorway (and new door) construction was completed in early 2009.
