Engine 84-2

 

Engine 84-2 is a 1982 Mack diesel engine with an Allison automatic transmission.  It was acquired in July 2006 from the Fort Washington Fire Company to replace our 1977 Mack engine.  It was generously painted red by students and faculty of the Western Center for Technical Studies

 

- 1250 gpm waterous pump

- 500 gal. tank

- 250 ft. of 2 ½” preconnect

- two 1 ¾” preconnects

- 200 ft. booster reel, mounted in the rear

- 1200 ft. of 5"

- 500 ft. of 3"

- full 5” discharge

- three 2 ½” discharges on sides

- two 2 ½” rear discharges

- front suction intake

- inverter with two 500 watt quartz lights

- seating for six
