Ladder 98

Ladder 98 is a 1993 refurbished Seagrave Custom Marauder 100' ladder.  It comes equipped with a 1500 GPM waterous pump, a 300 gal water tank, and a 60 series Detroit engine.

The "new" ladder replaced the old Ladder 84, which was also a Seagrave.  It was necessary to raise the doorway of the firehouse so that the new ladder could fit through it.  With only a ½" clearance, it was too risky to leave the doorway at the same height.  To get a glimpse of what's involved in raising a firehouse doorway, click here.
