Rescue 98

 

Rescue 98 is a 1981 Ford C8000 with a Cat diesel engine and 5-speed manual transmission.

 

- 300 gpm pump

- 200 gal. tank

- class A and class B foam capabilities

- two 1 ¾” preconnects

- 500 ft. of 2 ½” hose

- eight 500 watt permanent mounted lights

- 7500 watt Onan generator

- full complement of Amkus rescue tools

- nine 6000 psi cascade bottles with filling station on board

The 1981 Ford will soon be replaced by a brand new KME Predator LFD Rescue Pumper which will enhance our overall rescue capabilities with its many features, including:

 

- Cummins ISX15 500hp engine

- Allison 4000EVS transmission

- Waterous S100 1,500 gpm rearmount pump

- 500 gal tank

- SmartPower HR25 25 kw generator
