Training Stabilizing a Vehicle on its Side
The Humane Fire Company conducts regular training sessions every Monday evening at 7:00. On Monday, September 14th, the Humane Fire Company conducted a training exercise on vehicle stabilization.
First, take a look at what it takes to flip this SUV on its side:
Sizing up the situation.
Assembling equipment and starting the pump for the hydraulic tools.
Using struts to stabilize the vehicle.
Driving pickets to further secure the struts in place.
